At FUMC - High Point, our Children's Ministry partners with parents to build a life-long foundation based on the love of Christ, the teachings of Christ, and the servant life of Christ.
2017 Lenten Mission Project
FUMC’s Lenten Mission Project this year is “Rise Against Hunger”. This is a meal packaging program that coordinates the assembly-line packaging of highly nutritious, dehydrated meals to be used in school feeding programs over the world. Our goal will be to raise $3,000 over the 6 Sundays of Lent so that we can provide over 10,000 meals to hungry folks in our world. Our Children’s Council children will give you the opportunity to contribute during any worship service or in your Sunday School classes. We pray that each of you will consider supporting this very worthy cause. Please mark any checks “Rise Against Hunger” and place them in the offering plates during worship or your SS classes. On May 6, you are ALL (ages 3-93) invited to join the packing party in our FUMC fellowship hall. Details will follow!
