Children, kindergarten through fifth grade meet for Sunday School each Sunday morning from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m., on the second floor of Education Building. We focus on a particular Bible story or Bible truth each month, emphasizing learning through a variety of hands-on activities.
You can always keep up with our monthly themes by looking at our Children's Newsletter. It is posted on the first and second floor of the Education Building and will soon be available online.
Kids Making Five Alive
On all fifth Sundays, our children get the opportunity to help lead worship in each of our three services. They read scripture, lead prayers, usher and greet.
Kids Making Five Alive is an awesome opportunity for our children to gain experience by leading our adult members in praising God. During Sunday School on those fifth Sundays, kids, kindergarten through fifth grade, gather together to learn about Baptism, Communion and other worship related topics.
All children are invited to come down front for the Children’s Sermon each week during 10:55 Traditional Worship. Kindergartners and first graders are then invited to head to the Education Building for an age-appropriate Bible story in the Holy Family Chapel.
Kids of the Kingdom: On Wednesdays, our elementary kids get to participate in Kids of the Kingdom.
Children’s Handbells and Choir: Choirs and handbells begin the Wednesday after Labor Day and conclude in mid-May. They are both led by Sue Horney. To learn more, visit our Children's Music page.
