We offer three distinct worship services at First United Methodist. We hope one of these will be a space you can fully and authentically worship God! All are welcome! If you can’t join us in person, our services are broadcast on TV the following week. Need help finding where to go, check out this map!

Our known communion dates for 2016 are: January 17, February 7, March 24, April 10, May 22, and June 12.

Traditional Worship

Those who wish to worship and praise God early in the morning will discover this informal traditional service is framed by familiar hymns and praise choruses.  The order of worship is very simple, yet visitors to this service will find it to be reverent, subdued, warm and friendly.  The congregation of the 8:30 service is comprised of a variety of people from a wide range of age groups and backgrounds.  The beauty of the Holy Family Chapel works well to draw worshipers nearer to God in this setting.

A New Beginning is a different sort of worship experience. This service offers a more relaxed atmosphere that many can enjoy.  A New Beginning Praise and Worship Team provides a collection of many contemporary and some traditional songs for the service. If you are looking for something a little different in worship, or if you simply want to try something new, come and enjoy praising God along with us at A New Beginning Worship Service. Visitors encouraged.

In our Sanctuary, FUMC-HP offers a relatively formal service of traditional worship combined with the warmth of a fellowship of people intent on Praising God, Making Disciples, and Loving and Caring for Others.  This family friendly worship service combines liturgy, music and scripture in such a way that vital worship is experienced.  Through this more formal setting it is hoped that the congregation will find they are connecting with God, with one another, and at the same time celebrating a Gospel that transforms lives.
