Ashley Green | Director of Communications
Ashley is most alive when she is telling stories that inspire people to connect, grow, and take action. She believes words have the power to build community, strengthen faith, and remind people they belong. Whether she's creating a social media campaign, producing a video, or helping someone share their testimony, she is passionate about communicating with authenticity, creativity, and purpose.
A lifelong believer, Ashley's faith has shaped both her personal life and professional calling. After years of serving churches and nonprofits through communications and marketing, she discovered that her greatest joy comes from using her gifts to help ministries share the hope of Christ in meaningful and relevant ways. She believes every person has a story worth telling and that the Church has the greatest story of all.
Ashley joined the First UMC staff in 2026. Throughout her career, she has served churches, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations in California and North Carolina, helping them expand their reach through strategic communications, storytelling, digital marketing, and community engagement.
Ashley is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, and is grateful to have returned home after spending fifteen years in California. She enjoys building meaningful relationships, traveling, discovering hidden thrift stores and antique shops, and finding new ways to blend creativity with ministry.
