In order to ensure the safety of the church staff, members, and Child Enrichment children, the buildings on campus are locked during the week and after hours. Please ring the buzzer found to the left of the Education Building entrance (building to the right of the Sanctuary) and a church staff member will grant you access to building. Additionally, all those visiting the campus during the week are asked to sign in at the church office. This ensures that both the church staff and emergency services are aware of anyone that might be on campus in the event of an emergency.

  • First United Methodist Church is blessed with beautiful facilities that support our ministries and serve the needs of our congregation.

During times of deep significance, whether moments of joy or grief, we are committed to offering care, hospitality, and gentle guidance. Our pastoral staff is here to walk with you and your family.

Our Columbarium provides a sacred space on the church grounds for the inurnment of cremated remains of members and their loved ones. A memorial service for inurnment will be created by our pastoral staff in consultation with the family, and may take place at the time of the funeral or at another moment that best meets the family’s needs. Each niche accommodates the cremated remains of two people. Plaques affixed to the niches follow a uniform size and style established by the church and will be ordered by the church at the family’s expense.

For information about the Columbarium or to purchase a niche, please contact Amy Stephenson at 336-889-4429.
