Thanksgiving Food Boxes for A Shared Blessing Food Pantry at FUMC

We have begun collecting items for Thanksgiving food boxes to be distributed by the FUMC Food Pantry on Tuesday, November 25.

All donations are needed by Sunday, November 16.

We are collecting:

  • canned green beans

  • canned sweet potatoes

  • canned fruit cocktail

  • plus 32-ounce cartons of chicken broth

  • turkey gravy in any form (packet, can, or jar)

  • boxes of instant mashed potatoes

  • boxes of stuffing mix

In addition to Sunday mornings, donations can be delivered to the pantry from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12 and 19, or from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15. 

We are waiting on confirmation from Publix that their store-brand frozen turkeys will go on sale for .39 cents a pound in mid-November. We expect Sunday, November 16, to be our annual turkey-buying spree! Stay tuned for more details!
