The Nominations Team strives to assemble a diverse and inclusive leadership that reflects the distinctiveness of First United Methodist Church.  We are excited and grateful that you are considering offering your time and talents to the glory of God.  This prayerful nomination process is a way of affirming your recognition of the spiritual gifts you have been given.

If you feel called to serve, but you are not sure on which team, please consider employing this Spiritual Gifts Assessment, a tool provided by the United Methodist Church to help individuals identify their God-given gifts.  

Nominations are accepted year-round, the annual deadline is September 15. 

• Any member may submit a name or their own name for nomination.

• Nominations are then prayerfully considered by the Nominations Team.

• If selected, the nominee will be contacted by the Nominations Team and invited to serve.

• Final step is election of leaders by the Charge Conference held in late fall.
